On 29th July, 2020 the New Education Policy was approved by the Union Government of India. The policy envisages that the old and conventional 10+2 structure in school education will be modified with a new pedagogical and curricular restructuring of 5+3+3+4 design. After realizing the importance and significance of the implementation of NEP-2020, a group of great visionaries and eminent personalities from our locality came forward to extend their helping hands towards the implementation process of the policy with the assistance of some young, energetic, highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff. Thus, Dr. Banikanta Kakati Senior Secondary School, Dhubri came into existence under the aegis of Pancharatna Educational & Research Foundation. Dr. Banikanta Kakati Senior Secondary School, Dhubri  has an enriched environment which is not only student-friendly but also engaging for the students where teaching-learning will be conducted in a more interactive manner, questions will be encouraged and classroom session will regularly contain more creative, collaborative and exploratory activities for deeper and more conceptual learning. Dr. Banikanta Kakati Senior Secondary School, Dhubri has raised its voice against the conventional and deep rooted psychology behind the malpractice of offering extra private tuition. The school has taken a brave initiative to put a full stop on this conventional oddity and will create TUITION FREE ENVIRONMENT by some innovative teaching practices.
